Funny How Rumors Start

I have a funny story:

I dog sit in my home. We have an extra bedroom with a bed, television, etc. where most dog guests stay.

One of my husbands co-workers came up to him at work this last week and said "Thanks for sleeping with Lucy the other night." MY name is NOT Lucy. LOL

Lucy is a dog that stays in the extra bedroom. My husband needed to sleep on the good mattress for his back so he slept on the bed and allowed the dog to sleep with him.

I'm just saying...rumors start in funny ways!

Have a good weekend everyone! I'm going to sip lots of tea, pet sit many extra dogs, and stitch until my buns are numb. I wonder who my husband will sleep with THIS time if his back hurts? Nellie? Daisy? Oliver? Lucy? Fifi? ;o)

That's how rumors begin, isn't it?! Our oldest dd is married to an identical twin and they often have people saying they have seen her husband with another woman... So glad you are back!

That reminds me of a game we played when we were kids. One child would whisper something to the one sitting next to him. Then that child would pass on what he thought he was told, etc etc, until the last child would say aloud what he thought he'd been told. I think it was called gossip. While it was a game, it taught a valuable lesson too.

Hey there! This made a smile, thanks for sharing! So glad you're back, thanks for visiting and letting me know. I've been so busy training Brody, one more Sunday school class to lead, digging deep into the book of James in a new study, and so on. Always great to catch up with friends! Hugs, Pam
