Spilled Tea

If you visit a doctor, chances are, if you let them poke around long enough, they will find something wrong or tell you something to change. (Know the story 'If you give a mouse a cookie?)

A check up is still on the list (I know, I know) but check ups are like giving them permission to do the above. So, I thought I'd be brilliant and make some logical changes before I visit a doctor.

Sometimes my heart is too fast. I decided to slowly switch my two cups of hot tea to decaf. to see how it goes. Easy. Right?  So, I tried to have a cuppa decaf. and...

Now I can tell the doctor, when I see her/him, that decaf is not good for my health.Without caffeine, I risk burns and my heart rate SOARS when the hot liquid scorches my hands.

My precious tea...spilled (or as we say in the South, 'spilt').

Aw, Parsley!! Have you tried COLD decaf? I switched from caffeine to B-12, and I have to say it did wonders. I didn't get much withdrawal headaches and my energy level remained the same, if not better. I get my B-12 from my Crystal Light Energy powder water. Unfortunately, I've gone back on sodas and need to cut that off again.

It does no good...spilt tea does no good for anyone! The whole order of the world...the forces above and all around are telling you that this change is not for you. LOL (Disrupting the force we are .....hmmmmmm...Yoda would say)

Ouchy Wah Wah! Not a fun way to begin the day. Hope things get better as the day proceeds...Gurl, you better make that Dr. Appnt. Think of it as something you do for your family, 'cause they need you to be fit and healthy. I HATE going to the doctor, but I do it, "for them".

I switched to decaf per doctor's orders a long time ago and I still ended up with aFib. I am old enough now that I generally eat what I want but I still don't drink coffee and use decaf tea.

hmmmm, I'm not a doctor, but I think if your heart is beating a little too fast, you might want to get it checked out sooner than later, could be a lot of metabolic things causing it or it could just be the caffeine.....but better safe than sorry.....

I know how you feel, but doctors can be a good thing.

You have a lot of friends (human and furry) that want to see you healthy, hale and hardy for as many years possible... Please don't postpone too much longer....

Hugs.
