Horse Stories and Rated X texts?
I love the smell of horses. I love the smell of sweet feed. I love their glossy coats, velvety noses, and whinnies. I have ridden horses but do not own a horse, nor do I want to. The closest I may get to owning a horse someday would be to own an Irish Wolfhound, but I digress.
Here are our neighbor's horses in the pasture behind our house. They got out of their pen and we were keeping watch over them until the neighbors herded them home. This makes me think of another HORSE story....
In order to protect the innocent, I have excluded names/relations, but not the facts.
Let's just say I have a male relative. A while back, this relative got kicked by a large horse (not the ones in the picture) in his lower body...okay, we are grown ups...his groin. It was BAD. Really, really bad. He had surgery.
After some time passed I texted him. What I meant to type was 'I hope you are doing better.' What I typed included a misspelling that completely changed the meaning.
I can't remember which I typed but I left off one of the vowels in the word 'doing'. I'm too embarrassed to type the words but if you think about 'd_ng' and insert either vowel you'll see my problem. (blush)
He knows I don't use crude language and must have gotten the giggles from it because he said his d_ng was still hurting but better.
Oh my goodness!! I know I'm a grown woman but I'm still laughing at myself over that one. Now it's your turn...laugh at me or with me. We all make mistakes and we may as well smile through them.
By the way, I still love the smell and looks of horses.
My male family member, however, hates them.

Thanks for making me smile.
Jeez the poor guy hope he can still have little ones :)
Ow!!! Yeah, that wouldn't make one too fond of the guilty party, would it.
I love horses too, and your opening sentences made me remember just how they smell - even the sweet feed. LOVE that smell. Reminds me of Shammar, my Arabian/Welsh pony from when I was a kid.
That is so funny, and yet so sad :) I hope that your male family member is doing better...ai yai yai!
I hate TEXT correct, it never seems to catch the wrong words and always wants to change the correct ones to something either obscene or obscure.
I love horses too :)
Hugs

Poor guy!! I know just how it feels to be kicked by a horse (not in the boy parts, obviously)...YEOUCH!! I had to laugh out loud at your little misspelling, though :D
Oh Man! I have bad typos all the time when I am texting too. Hope he is doing better! And those horses sure are pretty!
That was a pretty funny story although not for your male friend!

Hehe that is exactly something a friend of mine would do... misspell something by accident. It ends up working just right but is embarrassing. Yeah, that sounds familar! I am glad his ding dong is doing a lot better.
LOL!, except for the male relative.
LOL...I imagine his affinity for the beautiful animals is diminished. Thanks for the giggle.
BOL we can imagine what he thought when he got your message. We like horses too. Have a great Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
I love horses too. I should be getting a horse tomorrow: on loan. I am excited but also a bit worried: such a responsibility. I promise though, I will make sure any dongs that may be around will be protected from horse hooves xxx
Great story! I am sure your relative appreciated the laugh. :->
The horses are beautiful! I would love a horse, and I know Suka enjoys them when our neighbor brings them to his field once in a while. Glad your neighbor had you to watch out for his lovely horses so they did not run too far away or get hurt.

This is worth a million chuckles! Haven't we ALL done typo's like this at one time or another. I love horses, if they belong to someone else ... but could sit & watch horses & deer all day long. They are such beautiful creatures.
TTFN ~
Have a beautiful holiday weekend ~
Hugs,
Marydon
I love horses, as long as they are on the other side of the fence! So, I know what you mean. oh, that made me laugh! He at least has a sense of humor. Hugs, Lynn
