In other news, I'm bummed that my refrigerator had a leak from the water line and ruined my kitchen flooring. It is a laminate flooring and if it is exposed to standing water it flips up at the seams. UGH!
No one likes being forced to repair things like this. It makes me irritated. There are so many projects I'd like to have done around the house but this one will have to be done before the other 'want to' projects. Plus, when you are living in a place, it's a pain to have workers come in and out...especially with dogs everywhere. I dread what's coming, including the bill.
For now, I'm going to find a big rug and cover it. I don't even want to think about it or I'm afraid my OCD will give me a migraine.
Such is life...

I just posted about my floor today! Yes, I agree, it's a pain to have workers in and out and dogs all about. I just want everything to stay the same and normal and calm not just for myself but for the doggies too... Freddy especially. His breathing problems occur now only when he seems overly excited like when I get home from work and the first thing he does is wheeze like mad. So with workers in and out, it would be plain awful. A big old rug sounds like a very good idea! :)

I love the Halloween stocking you received in the exchange! So sorry to hear about your flooring, any chance of just being able to replace just the few pieces that were damaged? I've never laid laminate flooring, so no clue if its even possible to pull up just a few planks.
