Valentine Swap and a RAK Gift

Claire and I exchanged stitchy Valentines. Here is the lovely item she sent me. Isn't it cute? I have other long legged birds that I will be stitching and adding to this flock. :)

I forgot to take a picture of what I made for her so I borrowed the picture from her blog.

In other stitchy sister news, Peg sent me a Valentine RAK. She is such a doll!  Chocolate kisses and floss in a sweet heart box. The card is perfect since we have had pet mice, gerbils and now rats. We are crazy like that.

I just wanted to show you these flowers we got for our dear daughter's Valentine Birthday.

And speaking of...she had a great birthday party. She had friends come over for a spaghetti dinner and fun. Instead of cake and icecream we served pie and pudding. HAHA!

The girls came dressed as their favorite stereotype. This is my daughter's friend holding my daughter's rat (check out her blog). She dressed as a 'book-worm' and won a prize for staying in her stereotype longest.

My daughter was 'crazy cat lady'.

Finally...for all Doctor Who fans...here is a gift my daughter got from a friend. It makes the sounds of the Tardis when you open the door. Too cool!

Hope I didn't bore you too much with all the photos. Internet is wonky so I thought I better get a post in while I can. Prayers appreciated for my multiple doctor appointments Monday. (sigh)

Love the photos, not boring at all. That is what I love about blogging- we get to share in the lives of others. Your daughter looks like she had a great time at her party and your Valentine's Day stitching- both given and received is lovely.

Valentine fun all over the place!

Looks like your daughter had a wonderful birthday, Happy Belated to her. I love the Tardis lamp! Do you think if her lamp and my teapot got together, they'd make little teapot night lights?
