Grad Gifts and WIP

Deborah, from Fairfield House, sent my daughter and me homeschool graduation gifts. For me, she sent a lovely infuser tea cup. As my little bird leaves the nest, stretches her wings and flies, this cup will remind me of this special time of our lives.

She gifted my daughter with an inspirational book, journal and dog key chain. She was excited!

It was totally unexpected and perfect. Thank you SO MUCH Deborah for your thoughtfulness. It was so kind of you.

I started a new work in progress (WIP). Here is August Poppy from Cottage Garden Samplings. This is being stitched on 32ct Confederate Gray Belfast Linen by Silkweavers. (more blue than gray) This will be a Christmas gift for a family member.

I love the borders of these patterns. Makes the monthly 'garden' of flowers so fun to stitch!
