Procrastinating Parsley, here. I've had several months of blog hiatus. I actually had some draft posts but never published them. I had cards, emails, and inquiries about my absence and it made me feel welcome to come back when I was able. You all are great!
Oh, how in love with life I am! My dear family and I are all well and our six dogs bring lots of joy. I'm still dog sitting, care giving at an assisted living center, teaching, and volunteer as a firefighter/EMT. I'm also currently stitching on a few forgotten projects and some Valentines for exchanges with friends.
Here are a few pics to play catch-up. I will visit each and every one of you who drop by and say hello. Thanks again to everyone for all the love and understanding as my life has become a great big busy ball of blessing.
In December, we celebrated our 25th anniversary. We went to Little America in Flagstaff, AZ where they had all the pine trees lit up for Christmas. So beautiful and peaceful.
We've adopted a new pet. Meet our gerbil, Flame! Every firefighter should have one. ;-)
Lastly I wanted to share a stitch I completed long ago but recently had finished by Faye. I love how she turned it into a wall-hanging.
Well friends, here's to rekindling the blog fires. I'll have some stitching and stories to tell but I had to just break the cycle and start back with this humble post.

What a surprise your post is! How nice to get caught up with you. Stick around. ;)
Sometimes we just have other priorities in life than blogging. No need to explain. We all have been there. But we are glad to see you back. Love your new pet. Great name! The finishing is perfect for the dog row.

Welcome back. Blogland has been rather quiet lately, I went through the blogs I follow and many, many of them haven't published anything in 6 months or more or no longer exist. I know that I haven't gotten many views on my blog lately either. Some people have gone over to Instagram but I think I'll just stick here since I do this blog mainly for myself and if others visit then that's just frosting on the cake. Once again, it's great to see you back.
Welcome back!!!
Yeeeeeeehaaaaw!!
Flame is a cutie! :)
So glad I am not the only one who has been recently absent and trying to get back in the groove!
I'm so glad that your back Parsley and that everything is okay. I've missed your posts.

Yeah! Your posting again. Glad to you know you are all well. Hope things don't get to hectic for you.
Congrats on your 25th Anniversary. Your gerbil is adorable. Faye did a beautiful job on the wall hanging.
Hugs!
What a fun trip you took! I love your precious moment figure. I have a huge collection of them. Each one with a specific memory or person I love or loved like my folks! Anniversary time is always special. Makes me smile when someone celebrates these milestones. Not enough of us these days! Congrats for that accomplishment! We always had hamsters rather than gerbils but your Flame is a cutie. Thanks for sharing!
