Random Thoughts

The 4H conference and my teaching workshop are now behind me. Seeing my students feverishly write notes and ask questions made me feel SO much better at the end of the day.

I did some stitching on Sunday. I'll post pics later in the week.

Some random thoughts:

--A good friend calls you to tell you about a problem they are having but they end up asking you about how you are. Use your ears more and your lips less.
--You may not understand why someone asks you to do something but it's not the understanding that's important, it's the doing.
--Morality has to come from a central source, otherwise there will be no wrongs or rights and chaos will take over the world. In that same line, Christian churches should be careful to stick to Biblical principals, not the whims of the world or man.
--It's not one's politics or religion that matter to me. It's how they treat others when these issues come up that tells me if I want to count them as my friend.
--I choose what to include in my life and by doing so, some things are automatically not a part of my life.
--A relationship with Jesus is more than head knowledge. Even Satan believes in Jesus.
--Life can be like a cross-stitch project: Take it one stitch at a time, rip and restitch when you mess up, and eventually you come to the end with a beautiful piece. :)
