Almost Giveaway Time and Fall Stitching

On Friday I'll announce the winner of my giveaway. Be sure to check out the link on the sidebar and enter if you follow.

In other news I have just a few stitches left to complete Pumpkin Hollow Farms. I have loved this one! Since this going off my to-do list, I am starting my Hallows Eve stitch. I hope to post some progress soon.

I've read many blogs but commenting has been hit and miss, sorry. Though the county fair is over, I still have 4H busyness this week. I am feeling scattered. Truth be told, I've not completely recovered mentally from the loss of our Rosie. Everything I do seems foggy instead of focused.

This week has thrown some other turns our way but nothing we can't handle. Onward with smiles, wags, and a few cups of tea!

Hello Parsley, healing comes very slowly, how can you not miss Rosie, she was family. I also love the pumpkin crossstitch, so cute. Somehow missed your post on that sweet little pup Penni, oh my, so sweet, hate hearing stories about animals being thrown out like garbage, sickens me, but thank the Lord there are great people such as yourself to help them. Blessings Francine.

I really like your cross stitch design. Very nice!

I am sorry you are still feeling sad about Rosie. I completely understand and send you lots of hugs and love. It takes time, and it is good you are allowing yourself the time to mourn. She was a beautiful girl and is greatly missed. At least you have your other sweet fur-babies to love and help you through.

I love looking at the stitching you do! I'm planning on a knitting project when the weather gets a little closer to hibernation stage.

Your pumpkin piece looks great - it hard losing someone you loved; family, friends or pets - but feeling the loss shows we cared, much love x

Parsley,
Your stitching projects are beautiful. Just think, not that long ago you had never tried it before! I hope you share your winning projects with us.
I understand your feelings and grief. I have moments when I recall one of Buster's antics and smile accompanied by a tug on my heart, tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat. I came across this recently and thought you would appreciate it. Please share it with Sage and your daughter as well.

Lovely project!! It helps me get in the autumn mood :). Thanks for posting a photo of Penni, my goodness what a cute dog. I despise animal cruelty and so glad someone saved this precious little bundle.

I know how you loved Rosie! It is so sad to lose them. I keep wanting a new kitty than I think will I lose him too? It is so hard but you have friends and family who love you and many furry babies surrounding you and keeping you happy! Smile you are well loved!
