Halloween Stitch and Puppies

Here's my All Hallows Eve stitch. The photo doesn't show the finished lettering but you get the idea. I replaced the witch in the right corner with a spooky tombstone and scorpion. I'm not sure if it looks complete this way but it will do. I will be framing this piece.

My friend, Charity, sent me a wonderful surprise. She stitched this piece for me and sent me a new LHN pattern. I loved them! I told her I loved this pattern but I would have never stitched it for myself . So glad someone stitched it for me! Charity used to blog and is one of the blogger's I've met in person. It's great how God connects people. Thank you Charity!

In non-stitchy news:  Last night my daughter was awarded a 4H medal in community service. So proud of her.

Just for smiles, I thought everyone would like to see these puppies. The 'animal whisperer', my daughter, is holding them for me. After only a few days, their shy ways have melted. They have begun to come to us, bite our fingers, and play. They are approx 6 weeks old.
