I took a test today and it wasn't horrible at all. I hope I passed. I traded an ugly hospital bracelet for a 'go pink' bracelet. Pink is my favorite color anyway and I'm feeling good about it.
Funny how in a small town you see everyone you know at the hospital. Several looked at me with concern wondering why I was in admitting but I told them I was just 'checking' things out. I guess there is no need in being shy about it. May as well tell the world because one person tells another and another and another...

The last time I was in the hospital, I left with arms that look very beat up. My veins aren't conducive to IVs and the nurses used me as a pincushion trying to get one in. Then, they told me that I needed to give more blood (because I'm negative blood type and my husband is positive so I had to be tested with the baby and get my rhogam injections) and I started crying so they sent me their best blood drawer person who got it on the first try. I think I counted 9 holes total in my arms when I left. I would have needed a lot of pink bracelets to hide those!
