Yucky Reports = Distraction Needed

Why is it that I feel at peace but can't get my mind off of my 'pink exam' results. Ugh. While away we also found that someone had tried to use our credit card number fraudulently.  It's okay now, we think. Add to that the feeling that my husband's job is insecure...I'm very tense.

Maybe it will help if I distract myself by showing you a couple of things I got while away.

As you'll read from yesterday's post, we went to Silver Dollar City over the weekend. While there we saw these ornaments and they touched me. These were made from the pruned branches of Olive trees in Bethlehem-Israel.

While shopping in the area, we found these Star Trek glasses and couldn't resist.

When I got home I found I had received my first shipment from Silkweaver Fabrics/ Needleworker's Delight. I chose to be a part of their 'color of the month' club but only every other month. I wanted to try their expressions fabrics due to the mottling of color. This is Lugana 32 count in 'rusted brass'. I'm very pleased with it and it is a perfect fall fabric.

Still catching up on your blogs as I can today while getting some cleaning done. Happy Monday!

You got some goodies while you were away, for sure. That fabric does look interesting. I have a lot of blog catching up to do too.

You're in the midst of a small storm. It shall pass, you know this, right?

Hello Parsley,

Those ornaments are an awesome find along with those Trekkie glasses.

I love the color of that fabric.

I have you deep in my thoughts and prayers.

I know it is hard but honestly: they will be extra cautious and just because you get a recall doesnt meant there is anything there to worry about. When do you have to go back? Pm me if you like. Lovely lovely stuff: glad you had a good time away.

{{{hugs}}} I heard from a friend that because of recent advances in the technology, a lot of people were getting some blips on their pink exams that they wouldn't have gotten before...that turn out to be nothing. Love the ornaments!!

I hope you get an appointment soon, as the waiting can wear 'happy' feelings thin! They are just being cautious--worth a look again for peace of mind! Voice of experience. Just had my 'all clear' for this year--yay! Hugs!

It does seem like you have a lot on your mind; I think we can be at peace about a situation but I also think we will continue to dwell about it until we know more about it. I feel for you with your hubby's job situation; going through similar feelings with my job so I totally understand! Hope all gets resolved sooner than later!

very nice ornaments!

Glad you had a good time in Branson. I went there with my parents 10 years ago or so since one of my cousins got married and they all live in MO. We didn't do Silver Dollar City but we rented a cabin on Table Rock Lake (very pretty) and did the winery and Ripley's and took in one of the shows that was Irish dancing (we're not into country music either).

Parsley,
Keep the faith -- let go of what you cannot control and let God have it. Your worrying and stressing about what the results might be doesn't do anything but rob today of its joy. (I know it's easier said than done, but I have been where you are.) Chin up, Buttercup! The ornaments are exquisite -- even more so knowing they are made from an olive branch from Bethlehem.
Your Friend,
Deborah
