Christmas/Winter 2012 Exchange WOWs

Karyn, AKA Ma Teakettle, was my Christmas/ Winter 2012 'seasonal exchange' partner. Our connection began toward the start of my blogging experience and she turned me onto stitching. I was thrilled that she joined in the exchange fun because I count her as a dear friend.

She has already received the items I sent her (here) and now I get to show what she sent me. She WOWed me. I was literally squealing. Look at all these treasures!

From my wish list she gave me Prairie Schooler Starry Night and Christmas patterns and Iced Tea by Midnight Stitchers. Also included were LK Dog Pawprints and a cute Santa beaded kit. The pink fabric was another wish of mine and it's even more pretty in person than it was online.

She also sent Crescent Colour flosses (my favorite), a needle holder, a dog bone pin, and candy. (YUM)

She stitched a precious hornbook floss holder and DOG THEMED ORNAMENT for my tree. The dog ornie and hornbook are stitched over one. They are so delicate and perfect. These items are so special to me because my friend put her heart into these stitched items. I will TREASURE them forever!

Now...deep breaths...Karyn shared something in addition to the exchange items.

She stitched my family some fall place holders AND she passed on these Wee Bird charts to me because they were on my wish list!

I know what you are thinking...I'm thinking it too. WOW! HOW GENEROUS!

Karyn, you went above and beyond and I know you did this to show me love and friendship...which is the greatest gift of all. THANK YOU!! I am deeply touched.
