Not a Scrooge

This cross-stitch pattern by Primitive Hare has been haunting my thoughts since I saw it. I asked 123stitch.com if they carried the pattern and since they didn't, they referred me to another company.

I found that VERY helpful and kind. It made me feel like the company/people were more concerned with meeting my needs than hoarding my business.

They are certainly NOT Scrooges there.

No...I haven't bought it yet. With holiday shopping complete, it will have to wait until my birthday in April. It comes from Italy so it would take some time to arrive anyway.

My daughter is now out of school for break. We have plans to decorate a gingerbread house and have some friends over. I'll be reading your blogs off and on to see what YOU are doing today. :)

123stitch.com is THE BEST. I always try to order from them if possible. The order usually goes out the mail the day I order it. Sorry you have to wait until April, but sometimes the best things are worth waiting for!

Parsley,
When an employee steps outside the box and offers true customer service -- even if it is a referral to another company -- I will remember that and return to do business with them. {Reminds me of a scene from Miracle on 34th Street.} Have fun creating today!

Your website is very kind and helpful, even if it does not make them any money.

Dear Parsley,
I am getting that kit from my dear hubby for my Christmas present. He ordered directly from the Primitive Hare's Etsy shop and she sent it to us as a e-pattern within twenty-four hours. It actually was cheaper to go this route than to order from a U.S. shop and have them ship it.

Isabella (the Primitive Hare) is a very nice person and very easy to work with in her Etsy shop.

Take care,

Karen in Maryland

What great customer service. If you are going to buy from Europe this company http://www.casacenina.com/the-primitive-hare/christmas-carol-sampler.html offers excellent service as well. Click the Union Jack to view the site in English. The owner also speaks good English.
