I fell in love with this pattern from Cherry Wood Design Studios called 'A Baby A Manger'. I will have to stitch this again for myself someday ;-)
I also wanted to make her a stitchy travel tin so I stitched a Christmas thimble from AuryTM. Inside were some needles and floss with a magnet for needles when she travels.
Also included, but not pictured, were a couple of patterns off her wish list, some cinnamon candies, a thimble, an I Love Lucy mug, and some hot drink items to put in the mug.
Drop by and see Ma Teakettle over at her corner here The Teakettle Corner.

I don't know which I like the best, they would make amazing gifts!
The blackwork piece is beautiful. I would not want to give it away if it was mine, LOL.

You put together a very lovely exchange parcel. A wonderful stitched design.
Such lovely gifts.
I am enjoying visiting happy places tonight! Tough work day but your post makes me smile! I was decorating my tree and found a little ornament that was stitched. Don't know where it came form but I LOVE it! It is Santa's feet stuck and hanging in the chimney. I thought of you immediately when I saw it was stitched. Oh how I love that little stitched manger.
Enjoyed my visit today. Please pray for Nick and his finals.
Hugs Anne

Beautiful, just beautiful.
May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace,
The gladness of Christmas give you hope,
The warmth of Christmas grant you love.
Parsley,
The gifts and the thought behind them are lovely.
I have no doubt the recipient agrees.
