WIPS, PUPS, and YUCKS

WIPS (Works in Progress x 2):  Well...I have a strange type of 'Midas Touch'. Seems the things I stitch come true. You may remember the 'poopy pattern'. Well, it is finished and framed in the hall and ANOTHER POOP right beneath it. HA!

I started stitching the first in the Santa's Village and it snowed little pellets. Could what I stitch come true? Perhaps I should stitch friends coming to tea or MONEY. ;-) My husband reminds me of a Chihuahua pattern I stitched that looked like Melody before we got her. Could I have brought her here with my fingers? ;-)

I also started stitching this other snowy piece on BELFAST LINEN. I do like it! Thanks to my stitching friends for the linen suggestions.

PUPS: Just a cute picture of Melody (the likely poopy pup) with tiny Cookie. Chihuahuas like to sun bathe.

YUCKS: This weekend the water heater was simply not putting out enough hot water. My husband drained and kept pulling this YUCKY sludge out of the bottom to expose the heating element and clean it all up. Hard water caused calcium and lime build-up. I'm so thankful for him and my hot baths!

I love your progress pictures. If you learn how you receive what you stitch, please let us all know. How cool would that be!!!

Nice little progress on your 2 wips. Your dogs look so cute & innocent, you wouldn't believe they leave you little poopy presents around the house! :)

You are welcome to stitch money and dog biscuits coming to my house!

Santa's Village looks great! I am stitching the first pattern too. What fabric did you decide on for it? I am stitching mine on 32 count Lambswool Jobelan, all of the houses on one big piece of fabric.

I'm stitching mine on one big piece of 32 count Platinum Lugana with snow white for the snow instead of just plain white, so it shows better. So far, so good. :)

Wouldn't that make a cool story for a book? If I were you do you know what I'd be stitching?.....yup! POODLES ;)

Nice to have a man around the house! I think we need to hire a honey-do man (they actually have them here in town)to look at our dishwasher and the furnace!

Your WIPS are very nice. I didn't realize how little Cookie was!

Parsley,
Once I find enough time to sit still I am going to start a project. Your pieces are all lovely. Have you taught your daughter how to stitch?
I think you should 'wip' up a new president.

What an adorable sunbathing picture!!!! Our hot water heater says to drain the bottom water off once a month!!!! We have had it at least a year and just did it for the first time last week. LOTS of sludge comes out, it really does need drained regular! And I would think it would make the water cleaner, too, but would have to ask my hubby about that.

Enjoyed the pictures.

So, I'm suggesting that you stitch lots of money--and share with us, lol. I still haven't started Santa's Village. Hopefully as soon as I get some other stuff done, I can get started.

Such cute pups you have. Every dog we've had has loved to sunbathe, even in the hot, summer sun.

I didn't realize a hot water heater would collect sediment like that...
And, I'm with Melody and Cookie...sitting in the warmth of the sunshine is soooo relaxing!

I wonder what Molly and Disco would think of each other. lol

Can you stitch me a couple bags of 50's?

Oh the pups in the sunshine look so right with the world.
We used to have hard water problems. We had to put a water softener in and so far, so good.

At least you have a handy husband, mine does not possess even a screw driver.

Parsley,
The pups (and cats) always manage to find a patch of sunshine.
You haven't posted in a few days, hope all is well.
