Love Ewe...bless YOU
Here's my progress on Love Ewe. I only have to fill in her body with fluff and add a rose to her mouth. I've been slower at getting this finished since I've been shuffling dog sitting clients. I'm so thankful for the work. I can't wait to complete this and start my first 'Garden Journal' flower!
I had a client tell me I looked "awfully pale" and ask if I was feeling alright. If I had been a toot, I could have said I was a vampire in training (HA!) but I explained it was likely the medication I've started (for my supposed heart irregularity).
Got me to thinking....We usually do a politeness by asking another "How have things been?" or "How are you doing?" We don't expect a half hour reply. We usually expect a quick response like, "I'm fine. How are you?" Have you ever known someone, however, who blathered on and on about all the things NOT fine?
Wouldn't it be refreshing to hear about all the things that are GOOD in some one's life? My list would go on and on. As a polite response, I'll say, "I'm fine.", and though I need and appreciate prayer for the things going on in my life, I really feel so blessed... more than a terse response would allow.
Lord, bless my friends today...

She,I think it's a she,is marvoulous.So pretty and such good work-I love it.Wish I was that skilled at needlework.Blessings from above-Denise
That sheep is adorable, especially on that pink fabric!! :)
I always say I'm fine... except to a few people. I may give you more details than I would give my boss, you know? So it depends on who I am talking to :)
I hope you are feeling better with that medication. I am often startled when I don't get a standard, "I'm fine and you" response to that question!
I hear ya! It's so easy to dwell on the negative, people forget to look for the good... The sun is shining, I have a roof over my head, food to eat, etc... All amazing good things!! My dad always says "I'm upright and above ground, I'm doing great!". :)
Great stitchy progress too!
I hope you feel better soon..sweet sheepie..
Hugs x
This is just adorable! I can't wait to see it finished! Yes, I have had many people go on and on about their health details with a How are you? BUT I do not like the how are you greeting, because no one really means it, it is just a greeting. It is a new thing, years ago we didn't have it.
Our peeps knew one old lady who sadly has now departed. Anyway they took her food, help with shopping and you know the like. Trouble was if you met her on the street and asked how she was me and Pip would take one look at each other and lie down. We knew we were in for the long haul. Have a terrific Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
Oh what neat fabric for this one.♥
Love your attitude. You are a blessing to those that are near and far.
~hugs
I was at a seminar the other day for work and they mentioned one word response to let people know how you are going and that word is "unbelievable", that says it all without going into detail, could be unbelievably good or unbelievably bad LOL
Keeping you in my prayers, love you.
Love Ewe is adorable. I love the bright fabric and thread colors. It will look great with the fluff.
And, yes, you would not want to ask my mom how she's doing, how things have been unless you have a long time to listen to her. No matter what she IS that person who cannot find a positive thing to say. The sad truth of the matter is that every time she repeats all the negative things, she exaggerates even more.
I'm more like you and just say I'm fine or I'm well.
you should never meet my Grandmother...=)
always speaking about illness ! and she never sees good things ! always starts with bad one...
take care sweetie, and don't speak if you don't want too
your sheep is lovely, she will be very beautiful once you have filled her
big hugs

Love Ewe is so cute and such pretty fabric! And you're right...hearing positive things is so much more encouraging!
You chose such a vibrant fabric for this project, i love it.
I've taken to smiling at people when i am out, i get some strange looks, but it certainly makes me feel good when they smile back at me.
Your lamb looks smashing!!!!
p.s., I feel great! the best I've felt in years!
:) wish you did too!
