Things that make you go...HUH?!

True story. A co-worker of my husband's told him an odd story. One lady in his office was complaining about her car. Apparently she took it to the dealership after our recent snow saying the car didn't go or stop right on the snow. Yes, you read that right... The car didn't work the same on the slippery roads so she took it to the dealer.

Our feet slip and slide on ice as we walk on the pavement...wouldn't a car? And she has a PHD? Well, I hope the dealership didn't charge her for a 'fix' that gets broken again with the next snow.

Yikes. No amount of money can purchase common sense.

Isn't it amazing how some people think! My coworker's daughter got married a recently and told my coworker that when she leaves the county, she's no longer married because a marriage license is only valid in the county it was issued! Huh?

Have a great weekend!

Just because they have a PhD, doesn't mean they have common sense. :) I have several children like this absolutely no common sense.

People!!

Wouldn't that be a little like saying that the car is hot on the inside during the summer, and cold during the winter??? Must be something wrong with the car's thermostat, don't ya think? :)

Thanks for the chuckle today.

GOD BLESS!

There seems to be an epidemic sweeping America where the educated are often confused with the intelligent. :)

I once worked at a college and assisted many of the prof's with their paper work. I learned there are many "book-smart" people who can barely function outside of their specialty...You just made my point.

Being in the clinical research business - I am surrounded with a bunch of PhD's... and I don't think any of them could find their way out of a paper bag if someone made one big enough to put them into it.

:) Well Educated doesn't equal Lots of Common Sense.
