After several days of sitting, I feel stronger and have a finish to show you. I stitched this on 30 ct linen that Robin sent me.
I think these cooky birds are fun. This pattern had a suggested button but I decided to stitch in my own dragonfly. I think I will add some backstitching around the wings to make it pop.
Look at this Lugana fabric I got from Silkweavers. (contented sigh) It's called Midas Touch. I love it! So antique looking and mottled. I have something special in mind for this fabric.
Last but NOT least is my current pet sitting job. This little baby was in the shelter and I mentioned her to a client who no longer had dogs. Well...she was adopted and I get to 'borrow' her. Like many shelter dogs, she started out timid but she warmed up to me quickly. Love this animated face!
Hope you have a FABULOUS rest of the weekend. :)

I love your stitching. And before I even read about it, my favorite thing was the tiny dragonfly! The fabric is very romantic, almost looking like tea dyed.
I love your long legged bird! That piece of fabric reminds me of sunshine in the timber on a fall day. It's lovely.
Such a little cutie you're doggie sitting. I'd never be able to resist that sweet face and those adorable ears!
Your current pet is adoreable.
I can never understand how anyone can abandon a pet. So pleased that there is a happy ending to this little one's story.
Have a serene Sunday Parsley.
Best wishes Molly

I love these cooky birds!! Nice job on adding the little dragonfly there...much better than a button in my opinion. Beautiful fabric you got. Can't wait to see what you have in mind for it! Super cute doggie. I'm so glad the shelter dogs stay with you and get so much love!!
