EvilTron

I live among GEEKS. Both my husband and daughter are geeks. In fact, I shopped at thinkgeek.com for a special gadget for my daughter called EvilTron.

It is the size of a quarter and sends out variety of sounds: unsettling creaking, scratching, gasping breath, sinister child laughing, eerie whisper asking 'Hey, can you hear me?', and a random mode.

My daughter set it to random when her friends came over. Every once in a while they'd hear 'something'. After several spooky times, they rushed downstairs to tell me something strange was going on.

I calmly said, maybe her room is haunted (because I knew a prank had started). They went back upstairs and not soon after, I heard screams. They rushed back downstairs claiming something creepy was up there.

While the friends were snacking later, my daughter snuck it into one of their bags and the 'ghost' followed them home. They found the evil gadget later and their mom was cracking up. Good friends, good times.

I tell you folks...that was money well spent. The laughter and memories will stay with us for a long time.

Oh, I love it! My oldest daughter did a similar thing to my youngest daughter years ago and to this day, my youngest daughter still isn't letting her big sister forget it.

Thanks for sharing the fun!
