Happy Chart Day!

My dear husband ordered me the Christmas Carol chart by Primitive Hare for my birthday! YIPPIE! I was also encouraged to order the flosses I needed so they are on the way. I had a piece of fabric saved away just for this chart if I ever got it and now I have it!

My mom is taking me to lunch today and later I'm taking my daughter for a haircut. She is going to donate her hair to Locks of Love. They make wigs for sick children.

Yesterday was my heart doc visit. He had no diagnosis. He said my heart seems okay except that it beats way too fast with minimal activity. (Tachycardia) There is a condition called IST which is caused by the autonomic system malfunctioning. It's a guess. http://heartdisease.about.com/cs/arrhythmias/a/IST.htm

At this point he says I should stay on meds to keep my heart rate down and take extra on bad days. I however trust God that I will have more good days!

I hope they get to the bottom of your troubles soonest. The world needs folks like you up and about to help make it a better place!

We are sending a prayer that you have lots and lots of good days, that heart thing can be real tricky. My mom has the opposite problem, hers likes to hang out at 37-50 beats, she cannot even tell when it gets that low, and then it will go back to normal...geeze!!

What a lovely chart to receive, Parsley! Looking forward to seeing your progress pictures once it gets underway.

Sorry to hear that your heart doctor still doesn't have a better answer for you!

Thinking of you!

It's always frustrating when we don't get a definitive answer especially to a health issue. But, at least you have more information. Keep trusting, God knows your needs. Enjoy your Birthday present!

I really like the Christmas Carol Sampler - it's on my wish list. Have fun stitching it up! Hope you get some answers soon regarding your heart but regardless, God knows exactly what's up and has it all in His control. Keep trusting!

I was thinking that the wish list you have at 123-Stitch was looking slim. I need to trim mine down, I think... but you need to add more!! :)

Happy Birthday to you! And what a great chart to receive as a gift! I love the designs by Primitive Hare, and this one is in my stash as well! Have you seen her Christmas Carol Sock? I love that one too.

I'm glad your doctor gave you a diagnosis and medication to help. I had a scare this year when I had an "irregular" EKG done. Lots of tests performed on me, and my cardiologist said I need to come back annually now. Isn't it fun getting, ahem, more mature? ;-) Hope you feel ok, and have lots of birthday fun!

Well, happy birthday!!

Hoping your day was/is as special as you are!

It's so frustrating when there are medical problems with no explanation. May the doctors find out exactly what's going on, and find a way to help you feel better.

In the meantime, cuddle up to your furry friends!!

GOD BLESS!

I hope your get a diagnosis soon and that all goes well.

How do you get that little "dog(?)" head to appear as the cursor marker on your blog? I have never seen that, it's too cute.

Parsley,
So sorry I 'missed' your birthday but know my belated wishes for a happy, healthy year are sincere.
Glad they have ruled out some major issues although it's frustrating not knowing exactly what is going on.
