Dog Gone

I haven't picked up a needle all week but I'm too busy to have withdrawals. It's summer-time, and that means families are going on vacation and leaving their dogs with me for pet sitting.

I enjoy what I do SO much and I am at full capacity. My extra room is full as is my kitchen, laundry room, and dog hotel. At some point I may have a total of 16 in my care (counting my own 6 dogs). I don't know HOW I came up with this system, but I make it work. I hope I am not taking on too much but I hate saying 'no' to people who love their animals too much to kennel them where they only get to go out to potty twice a day.

So I won't have crafting to show. I will be 'Dog Gone' for a bit, but I may have some funny dog stories to tell soon. I got my doggy-doo bags and rake at the ready...let's 'doo' this!!

If you enjoy it then it can only go well! I love my three dogs; one is a rescue and a strange little package filled it neurosis; but we love her all the more for it. Have fun!

That sounds like something I'd like to do too, for I left my dogs at a kennel ONCE, and although the owner was nice and kind, they were so upset that they didn't eat, drink, poop or pee for the two whole days we were gone. Poor doggies. :-(((

Good luck with the project. Sounds like a houseful! :-)

Parsley,
I agree with the above comment. I wish you were closer so I could use your services!
I think you may need to purchase an old Victorian farmhouse and run a B&B for Dogs!
Enjoy!
Your Friend,
Deborah
