Well, the doggy tales begin.
We have a lovely fenced yard and my dogs and dog clients get several breaks a day to do their business and get a change of scenery. It's been raining quite a bit so we spend extra time out when the sky is clear.
As I'm walking the yard scooping, I'm seeing different dogs rubbing their faces in various spots on the ground.
I've seen dogs roll in cow pies and road kill, neither of which are in my yard, so my curiosity peaks. It was...
Dead Dung Beetles, likely drowned by the rain! (I will spare you a photo.) Just imagine... the dogs were rolling in both poo AND dead animal, all in one!
Dung Beetles are my helpers in yard clean-up during their lifespans but they are my nemesis when the dogs roll in their rotting, doodle-smelling carcases. Just gotta laugh. Bath time.

This made me laugh right out loud! Every now and then, our beloved dog friends do something that reminds us that they are indeed DOGS!!
