That was one of the first sentences I spoke this morning. I was REALLY not awake. Our sweet old Snuffy had 'spells' during the night and last night she had four. We didn't sleep much.
This morning, I had gone barefoot outside with a dog client and came back in to see a brown lump on my foot. Luckily it was mud (this time)! But...later I was walking through the house and stepped on a little clump of actual dog poop. Good grief!
Speaking of poop...I am pet sitting a momma Papillon and her four day old pups. I had put her in a small bathroom overnight, with newspapers to potty on (that is what she does at home) but my daughter must have visited her in the night and left the door open!! Wee and poop everywhere except the papers in the bathroom. Ugh.
I spent 30 minutes cleaning then had to shuffle my other dog clients...and all before my first cuppa tea! I am almost in a zombie state. 8-/ There have been times this week that I've had to double check to make sure I had slipped on shorts before taking a dog outside. Could I claim 'exhaustion' as an excuse for indecent exposure? hahaha!

On the stitching front, there's little progress to show since I've had so many dog clients. BUT, here is what I am working on. I have decided to give this pattern my attention until I've stitched a horse and a house. After that I will allow myself to pick up another project. Maybe that will help me get more done...by setting small goals.
Will be checking out blogs today and tomorrow. Can't wait to see what's been going on with you all!

Your WIP is lovely! I like setting goals with my stitching; I tend to get more accomplished.

Oh wow, that's a lotta poop and wee! Four day old pups! I can't even begin to imagine!
Mom said she should be in the guiness book of records for the amount of pee and poop she has had to clean up since us pugs came into her life....when they just had their minpin zeus for 12 years she said there was only one time EVER they had to clean up poop and it was their fault. I just tell her we are making up for lost time. Mom does say we are doing much much much better now! Hope you have a good restful day...ps. those puppies are so cute!

Shall I send matchsticks over to prop those peepers open. Poor you , but you cannot be cross with those pups. Love the stitching , I keep looking at the Jane Austen P&p primitive hare design . Her designs are so different.
Take care and try and get some sleep!!
Ugh. If the stuff cleaned up easily it wouldn't be so bad....
OMD the puppies are so cute. LOL accidents will happen. Hope you get some easy time. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Aww cute little pup...
Sweet stitches x
Poop happens - but those little puppies are adorable!
And setting small goals is the only for me to get ahead sometimes!
Parsley,
I guess you really are all pooped out! LOL
The pups and momma are so sweet. Hope she is not too stressed.
Your Friend,
Deborah
Sorry you're so exhausted, but at least you have some adorable puppies to look after. Hopefully you'll get some rest tonight.
Your dog are very cute and a nice progress on your stitching.:)
All before a cup of tea, bless you. She is a very beautiful mummy though and her pups are adorable.

Oh my! I'm so sorry that you "discovered" something that was out of place. (I didn't know how else to say that! :)))
We don't have any pets inside (or outside.) We used to....and loved each of them. But, when the last one we had died (several years ago) we decided that we wouldn't have any more pets. It was a tough decision, but it is one that we are comfortable with.
Sending you hugs,
Jackie
That's good luck

Sorry that there is extra poop in your life right now, but look at those we babies. So sweet!
Lovely stitching too. I love this design!
I hate that!! Hehehehehe not sure if thats poop on your foot or not? I think your poo curse continues.
your WIP is coming along very nicely! :)
Oops on the door being left open ~ but what sweet pups! Love your wip!
Cute little pups!
Lovely stitching :)
Hello Sweet Friend...
Oh you have had your hands full around the house as well. What a week for you. I bet you will be happy when the Mom and babies go home. Sounds like you need a little rest. No poo poo.
I love your stitching. It is going to be so gorgeous when you are finished. I love the Amish and their buggies. I can still hear the clop, clop, clop as they came down the road. When I visited Marydon we got to go into Amish country. Their lives are simple and clean. Everything so tidy. I loved seeing their wares for sale.
Have a glorious weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
HaHaHa! I have to chuckle! I woke up this morning and Bandit had left a nice circular gift in the hallway for me! He is our sons rat terrier and he has alway pooped in a pattern! LOL! When I tried to wake Nick for his morning run I noticed the lil dickens had left Nick a nice step in this buddy, gift this morning too! Ah the joy of pets!
You always share the best photos! Good luck with your new pattern, you have such a wonderful talent!
