Just a quick question for you all: What is your favorite way to finish a stitching project? OR (if you don't stitch) What would be your preferred type of stitched gift?
Framed? Pillow/cushion? Pin keep? Ornament? Box? Other?

I like little pillows or pin keeps
Depends on the size. I'll either do pillows or small framed pieces if I can squeeze them into a standard size frame
pillows, pinkeeps, things to hang up, i love them all.
I like ornaments or pin pillows (or mini pillows) or flat folds if I were receiving a gift.

I love boxes! But I usually frame/pillow my finishes.
I would love to frame more stitchings...but no space enough to hang them :-/
I must admit I try many different and new finishes, I love little pillows but I'm addicted to zipped pouches those days =D

We don't stitch but we'd like Christmas ornaments. We kind of like the idea of things on the tree that makes us think of friends present and gone. Have a tremendous Thursday.

ornaments or little pillows, if small
Yes, that is the question isn't it?! I asked this on my blog at the top of the month too. I decided to go with a door knob hanger for my friend who does not stitch. I like small pillows. But a non-stitcher, I don't think they would. Also I decided on a flatfold for another gift.
All I know is a certain one you did and framed is a real treasure that I see and look at every day.
I'm not one for favorites ~ I love it all!! Sometimes how I finish a piece depends on my mood, the piece itself, or who I may be giving it to.
I usually finish them as pouch,bag,decoration...notebook cover.
Varies....depends on what I am stitching!
Anything that has been handmade is always so very special no matter what the finish is.

I tend to frame my works. I haven't tried another method yet-- although I am working on six ornaments. So, ornaments will be a new one for me to try.
Pillows, pinkeeps or frames for me as they are the easiest! Although a box finish is becoming a fav of mine now!!
Definitely tiny pillows or ornaments (I guess you can tell that from my blog :)
Pin keeps are always easy to make and you can either hang them or display them in a basket :o)
Pinkeep, pillow, flat ornie, biscornu, needlebook, scissor fob. I love them all and it just depends on the piece, season, or my mood which finish I like the best at any given moment.
Oh gee... I like all kinds of finishing and have tried them all. For ornaments, I like the flat ornament finishes the best. I guess it depends on the stitched piece as to what finish I use.
