Little Niagara and a little of nothing
I have been feeling in a blog slump. It feels like I don't have much to share that would interest people. My stitching has to be kept secret. My dog post update would be sad because Snuffy has gotten worse, not better. My home life would be boring to most. However...here is a photo of some of the fun we've had recently.
I took my daughter to Little Niagara with friends. I stitched while they swam. The water level was low and it was HOT but it was a nice diversion from the norm.
School is in full swing for her...which leads me to a post for the near future. Homeschooling isn't respected...that's all I will say, for now.

your blog is never boring.
My Mom said to tell you she has 8 grandchildren and 4 of them are homeschooled, it is hard for their mom sometimes cos she always has to field questions asked by well meaning (?) people, mostly things like are they gonna be smart enuf to get in to college??????
Sometimes it is hard to find words for blogging, my mom has times like that also, ...hugs a bunch.

Don't worry about homeschooling attitudes. The whole reason we homeschool is to bring our children up to see lots of points of view and idiologies: no narrow-minded ignorance for them! I loved home schooling..and it helps that in the UK there are several high profile lecturers and researchers who were also homeschooled! Don't worry about it! Sorry to hear your wee pup is worse...it is so sad when our beloved pets are ill and we can't help them.
Your life is a blessing to all who know you, your blog is never boring, and homeschooling is a most noble cause...need I say more?
I am sorry to hear that sweet Snuffy is worse, I am saying prayers and sending hugs, more than you could imagine, dear friend.

I look forward to your blog posts, Parsley. I always take something away from reading it. Sorry to hear that Snuffy isn't doing well!

Keep posting...keep posting. Give Snufffy a tummy rub for me.
I understand the dry spells of blogging. I understand how people can be disrespectful and demeaning. I understand the heartache of watching a beloved furry friend suffer.
I will pray for all of these things, Parsley.
GOD BLESS.
Your blogs are always interesting to me!
I agree, your blog is never boring. I feel like I talk about the same things over and over. And I feel like I don't have anything uplifting to say either. Don't stress about blogging though, or you'll start to hate it, and I don't want you to hate it, ever!
No, homeschooling has never been respected enough. I was guilty of that in the beginning-- like 25 years ago. But I've come a long way since. I respect it a lot more. Seeing success stories like your DD helps. I wish more people would share stories like that so homeschooling would get a better image.
Your are never ever boring Parsley. We got your little gift this morning. How kind of you. It was extra special as with Snuffy we know how hard things are and we feel for you. Thank you so much and you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have a post for you on Thursday and as you will see somedoggy is in the dog house big time.
Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly

Big hug,
Jackie
The public schooler's have been and are brainwashed... and many are low-achievers at best...
Hang in there Snuffy!!! Wish I could help somehow.
Aww Snuffy! I am praying for you Parsley. Our Jacob is doing alright in college. I am trying to let him be the student he needs to be.♥
Giant hugs and love for you and Snuffy.
Woolie Blessings
Sorry to hear that Snuffy still isn't doing well. We are keeping our fingers crossed.
I always look forward to reading your blog, so never boring.
I homeschool as well and my son is many years ahead of his peers at public school but we have to wait until he is 16 before he can get nationally recognised qualifications, then it is free or else it will cost well over $1000 per subject, per year for correspondence school papers. These papers are far too easy for him now, they will be a breeze when he finally gets to do them in 3 years time.
All the best to you and your family,
Ooo, I love waterfalls, no matter how small. Waterfalls are supposed to be good places to go when you are sad because there of the ions that are supposed to make you feel better.
Sorry to hear that homeschooling isn't respected in your area. Misperceptions can cause a lot of that.
I always love hearing from you through your blog posts. Sending hugs to Snuffy. Dottie Dog sends her love to Snuffy too.
Saddened to read your little friend is so poorly.
Your blog is never boring, we all have times we feel strange, we have to enjoy whatever comes our way through life and find the best way to walk the path. For some they retreat and hide away to heal themselves, others need to be able to shout it out and get it out of their systems through their blogs. Whatever way is best for you, your friends will always be here to offer support and comfort to you as they care deeply.
much love xxxx
Hey Parsley! I hope that your slump leaves soon. So sorry to hear that Snuffy is not better.
Hugs!
Dear Parsley,
There has been an outbreak of the slumps. I haven't written a blog post since June. :O
Interested in reading your words on homeschooling.
Sorry that Snuffy isn't improving. :(
Your Friend,
Deborah
I think a lot of folks have had a round of the bloggy blues lately. I'm sorry to hear about your little friend...Hugs from a fellow homeschool mama. :)
