Good Monday morning to you! This weekend my dear husband painted our front door Kimono VIOLET (Purple)! It matches my dining room wall color which is just off of the door entry. It's a rather bright color but we needed something to spice up our white house. I like it, and purple is not even my favorite color. What color is your front door?? I really want to know.
Speaking of purples...plums can be purplish, which is my lame attempt at mentioning Plum Street Sampler's SUNDAY SAL. Every Sunday she will post a motif to add to 'Mary's Sampler'. I'm a sucker for nativity scenes so I'm excited about it. It is a quick stitch so very little time commitment.
I am stitching mine on a dark blue, for a night-sky look. I will be doing the simpler version, but she has a Mary's Sampler II which will have more stitching. Joining in?? Here's a link for those interested. LINK
Snuffy Update: She is hanging on but still having up to a dozen seizures a night plus through the day. If it weren't for the few moments of the wagging tail during the day for treats or when her Daddy comes home, I would say goodbye. She still struggles to breathe with her heart... So upsetting.

Oh Parsley! So daring and bold. It is beautiful. Do you really wanna know? It is white. So boring huh? Well, I have a wreath of flowers on it every single day of the year, so it's not so bad.
Yes, I too am stitching Paulette's SAL. So great!
Morning Parsley, pretty purple door, looks great......prayers for the sweet fur baby, Blessings Francine.
I love your front door, mines wooden so a boring brown.
I'll be doing this SAL, I love a nativity too. Still trying to decide on fabric choice lol.
(Big hug) to you
Parsley,
I love the door. I have never seen one and I think it looks nice.
I'm joining in the SAL. I like the fabric you have chosen. I like the idea for a night sky. Great choice and your stitching looks great!

Parsley,
Me again...I forgot to mention our door is white...

Wow - I like that! Our front door is natural wood. With our name on a wood-burned sign, and a cast iron bear door knocker.
I liked Mary and Joseph. Will you post the finished product?
And so sorry to hear about Snuffy. Prayers for her, and for you, too.
GOD BLESS!
(Posted something about Marty, my son's beagle, today. Would love you to visit if you get a chance!)
Love the colour of your door. Ours is sage. We are sorry to hear Snuffy is no better. Such a hard time when they are not doing so well. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Love your purple door! Ours is brown; it matches the window trim and garage doors and goes well with the cedar color of our house.
Sending Snuffy a hug!

Such a pretty door for a white house.
My door is white but is always decorated with wreaths for the seasons.
I'm also joining in on the SAL. I love nativity scenes AND my name is Mary (can't pass that up!)
I understand how you about your poor furbaby. We now have our 3rd dog and it's heartbreaking to see them suffer and miss them.
Love your purple door - it matches my stitching room. My door - primer white. Boring...I want burgundy. Oh, forgot to mention the rust spot from Bridget nosing it open.
Ooh, pretty! Our door is red, the siding is a very pale gray called platinum. Oh, and we just happen to be Ohio State Buckeyes.
Praying for Snuffy and all of you. Some decisions are just too painful to think about.
I love your purple door so much ..so sweet ❤️❤️
Give snuffy a big hug from me..

Your door is my favorite color...
How beautiful it is!
My door: it's a medium dark oak stained color.
Williamsburg green here. I love your purple.
Hugs to you and Snuffy!
Wow, what a very welcoming front door!!! The colour is fabulous :)
I have a very boring & typical front door: it's white in UPVC...
I LOVE your new purple door Parsley! It looks wonderful! I used to have a front door and brick foundation and I did the shutters too on our other house yrs. ago that I painted 'Grape'~(Sherman Williams paint) and it looked really pretty. It was a little darker than yours and I loved it, w/gray siding, it was a nice contrast. It was the talk of the neighborhood!!
Hang in there Snuffy!
hugs,
Tanya
I love, love your door. My door is a cream color. I wish I can paint it over.
Your front door is wonderful! Ours is pale pink:) I remember long ago on one of Martha Stewarts shows - she said we should paint our front doors our favorite color. Love the dark blue fabric your stitching PSS Mystery SAL on. Looks fantastic!
love Annette
