Exchange and a 'Little Green Visitor'

Just a quick post to thank Kaye (Kitten Stitching) for the lovely Fall/Halloween Exchange goodies she sent me.
A LOVELY Halloween box with rose-scented soap made in Australia.
Patterns from my wish list and chocolate and floss from her country.
Other Australia made items and a variety of patterns for my stash.

I sure felt 'treated' for 'Trick or Treat' season!! Thank you so much Kaye!

In other news, we had a little green visitor drop by for Halloween. No, it wasn't an alien. ;-) My daughter just walked INSIDE THE HOUSE with the visitor wrapped around her arm saying "Come look at this little CUTIE!" She was not afraid at all. She's not your typical teen girl!...and I raised her right to be smart about nature and its critters.

What do you think? Were the pictures a Halloween SPOOK for you?

Glad that green guy was just passing through.

I think it's a very nice looking green visitor. I have to be cautious about snakes here because you never know which ones are venomous.

Amazing goodies..really nice exchange. Smart girl: God made all things and they are there to be enjoyed...and respected! If it isn't dangerous, pet away! Love it...if my kids brought one home it would be me saying ' can we keep it?' lol

What a lovely gift package you got! I will take a pass on the snake though, no matter how tiny he is.

I wasn't afraid of them when I was young either. I do know if it bit her she would have been so sick she would have thought she was dying. A boy in my class in 6th grade found that out when he brought one to school.

I am trying to catch up! Thanks for stopping by my blog. It has been hard without Roxanne and I know you understand. My friend Myra sent me a book called "A Dog's Purpose". I am hoping I can get some healing from it. She recently lost her precious doggy too.
Your pretty gifts are so delightful and all the way from Down Under! Lucky you!
Always thinking about you and your beautiful phamily. Your daughter is quite brave. My grandson is like that too. I use to love catching frogs and my girls did too! Our two sons would squeal like girls! LOL! My grandson Colton is a snake expert. He loves them. I am glad I am catching up here. Hugs and Blessings to all of you! Pray for Nick and Eli as they run in Nationals for Cross Country on Nov 9th in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. We are very proud of them and especially Nick because, well you know he is our baby boy! Proud of all his accomplishments. Wish I knew someone who lived there and could take photos for me! ;-(

Hugs Anne

Parsley, I am a typical girl, in that I don't like anything bug related, except ladybugs. I started a new stitching blog today after a few months hiatus at stitcherista.blogspot.com, and I would love for you to check it out and become a follower.

Hello my friend Deena!!
Lovely gifts and a cute little snake. What a georgeous green colour he/she has in the skin!!

There are some lovely pictures of my Kittyes and the Yokshire Terrier Dani I was honored to groom. My DD' Boyfriend is very gentle hearted and fostercare the tiny Yorkie but very understandly he needed some help with the Yorkies demanding hair. It was almost matted and it took me four hours to untangle with a comb and scissors :)
