The ICE Comes..Giveaway reminder

It's going to be nice today in the mid 60s but the ice comes tomorrow. Boo! My husband and I had planned a get away for an early anniversary but ice storms could mean POWER OUTAGES and we can't leave our family and home unattended with temps possibly going into single digits. I hope to be curled up with a fuzzy blanket, hot tea, and pups while stitching.

If power does go out, I won't be online so I'm posting this reminder to enter my giveaway in the post below.

Now for this morning's giggle: I literally inhaled coffee and had to spit out what was left in my mouth into my cup. Couldn't drink it after spit was in my cup. I'm scared of my own germs and now only my lungs are awake. You are laughing...aren't you? I'm coughing.

It was warm here yesterday then the thick grey fog rolled in and it was a mess for poor dad to drive home in last night...today it is getting cooler and gloomy. I think we are just getting cold weather and that is all.

It's warm and windy here today, calling for very cold temps and rain.
Stay warm and hoping the power doesn't go out.

Happy early anniversary!

Sorry that you can't get away for your anniversary, but it's better to be home where you're able to keep watch over everything. Hoping and praying that you don't lose power for any length of time.

The sleet just started here. I went to get my stepdaughter and the car was coated in ice already. I am hoping school is called off tomorrow. I am hoping work is called off for my hubby too. I plan on going nowhere.

Hope the weather doesn't get terrible for you.

And thanks for sharing the giggle. I have to admit I was giggling cause I have inhaled my coffee a time or two. =)
