On Valentine's Day we decided to let Snuffy pass away peacefully. She was really struggling for breath and the seizures were still frequent. Out of love for her, we had to let her go.
Valentine's Day was also our daughter's birthday but she agreed that her birthday activities would be a good distraction for us all. She and our remaining pups bring us joy during sad times.
I know many of you understand and I'm thankful for thoughts and prayers our way. It's not easy, but as I told our veterinarian..."even though this hurts, I'd do it all over again".
Run free, little one. Eat some hamburgers and wait for us. We'll be together again some day.

My sympathy for your loss. Precious little furry friends come and go in our lives but they never really leave. Makes me so sad but happy to know one day we will see them again. I remember reading the book "Heaven is for Real". The little boy said dogs were in heaven. It made me smile.
