Spring Surprises and Easter RATS

First of all, thank you all for hanging with me. It's such a busy, exciting time in my life; I simply haven't had a lot of time to blog. I do read yours when I can and especially try to comment when you've left me a note here. Don't give up on me...I'll be blogging more this summer.

I wanted to show you the super Spring RAK that April sent my way. Look at the yummy candy and adorable chick pin cushion. I told her I felt guilty putting a pin in the chick ;-) Thank you sweet friend!

I thought I'd also share a picture of what I bought my daughter for her Easter gift...baby RATS. These are called DUMBO rats due to the ears. She still has her two older rats but they are aging and ailing. It will be a nice 'rat pack' that will eventually thin out as nature takes its course.

Speaking of 'nature taking its course', the baby raccoons died. We found out the rest of the litter, under other people's care, died almost the same day. Strange timing but obviously they needed something from their mother we all couldn't provide.
