WIPs, Sale Info, Coons

Had the nicest thing happen yesterday. The man and his son who were involved in the truck roll-over earlier this month, came to thank us for our help. How NICE!

Speaking of nice, I wanted to publicly thank Nikki at Furry Bottoms blog for the acrylic keep-sake of Snuffy that she sent to us. It's been a month and we still miss her terribly but know it was the right decision to say goodbye.

Here are my current WIPs. I've only stitched a little bit on each since I've had studies and a busy dog-sitting week over Spring-break.

P.S. For you stitchers, http://www.silkweaverfabrics.com is having a 25% off sale until the 29th. Use code SPRING14. I love the colors of their fabrics! The Christmas Carol I'm stitching is on Lugana in Midas Touch. YUMMY!

The baby raccoons are doing fine. The runty girl still concerns me. My daughter is basically force feeding her with a syringe. The little boy is almost twice her size now and is thriving. Here he is getting a little love. Cute sounds!

That was so nice of Nikki!

I hope the runt raccoon pulls through - have you any plans on where to release them to the wild?

So many people would make the world a better place if they would only say thank you -- :)

That is so sweet of Nikki. We know how much you must miss Snuffy but as you say it was the right decision but it doesn't make it any easier. We miss our Ancient Pip terribly too. Good luck with the baby racoons. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly

What a lovely remembrance of Snuffy.
Lovely stitching, that fabric is really a great color.
I hope that the girl raccoon starts eating on her own.

Parsley,
How wonderful that the couple stopped by to thank you and your husband and that you now know everything turned out okay.
I adore your video. Each time I play it Humphrey runs over, head cocked, searching for the animal in the laptop. :)

Gosh, they are adorable!!

Hoping that baby girl raccoon soon rallies and gains ever more strength. Your daughter is a natural vet!

GOD BLESS!

Oh, those raccoon babies are precious--I'm sure they'll thrive with your tender loving care :) Love your WIPs--especially Christmas Carol...

Love your progress on that Christmas Carol sampler and a big thank you for the notice about the Silkweavers sale. I've had my eye on a few linens and going to place an order - woohoo! I was uncertain as I hadn't heard much discussion about Silkweavers in awhile and remembered sometimes people would complain about orders taking so long. But I will give it a chance especially with the savings.

You have been busy, I see...sorry about Snuffy. Our pets become such a part of the family, don't they.
Good luck with the coons, tho, once they get a bit bigger, they can have a nasty bite and worse. Be careful.
