Karaoke Celebration, Exchange Anyone?

Hello stitching friends and blogging buddies. I am happy to report that EMT class is finished, though my national registry test is pending.

Last night we completed our skills tests. Afterward all of the students and instructors went to Applebee's where we had a late dinner and Karaoke. We were all trying to get one another to sing. I finally said I would sing if others would. They couldn't resist seeing if I had it in me. Some gathered up 'liquid courage' and I gathered up my nerve. We had a blast being goofy while saying goodbye.

We've shared a lot together and have become closely knit, a miniature EMS family that is being adopted by a larger group. We have shared our fears, our ups and downs with patients, and our victories over obstacles. What a fantastic journey...and yet it's really only beginning.

Today I plan on STITCHING. I won't begin studying for the national test until tomorrow.

I'd like to reconnect with you all. Anyone fancy a giveaway? How about an exchange? Both will be happening here...soon!  If you are still reading and are interested in being part of an EXCHANGE  this summer, email me  at ruparanoid 2 at yahoo dot com.  I'll see if we have enough interested. As to a giveaway, stay tuned. :-)

Thanks for the emails, comments, and support. I could still use your prayers for national registry. It's gonna be a doozy.

WooHoo, congrats on completing the EMT class!!!!

I'm still working on some consignment pieces and helping with DD's wedding plans, so I don't have the time to commit to an exchange until after September. Sounds fun though.

Hello Parsley! I am so proud of You-your new skills can save human life !! Well done !

I would love join exchange if stitching could be a quite small a summer themed ornament with something little surprise as a gift for the receiver-
,perhaps! ?
I know the cost of posting to Europe (Finland) could be a problem and totally understand if am counted out of the exchange ...

I'm glad you enjoyed the course and knew you would do well - I hope the national registry exam has been completed and you are now wearing a shiny EMT jacket of your own and carrying some diplomas!!!

Hugs.
