Hider Spiders with Perspective

Scorpion--member of the arachnid family
It's amazing how a little rustling gets a spider out of hiding. Poisonous creatures strike fear in most of us. We retreat. We scream. We cry. We have nightmares. We try to imagine a world where they exist but will not bother us. I've seen too much hider spider activity lately.

My mind thinks 'They'll hurt me. They are big, mean, and nasty.'

I can't let the existence of creepy crawlies put fear in me. I have to change the way I look at them. Once I take a step back I see these creatures for what they are...small.

It's all in perspective.

So true; so small yet in our minds so big! Very good putting things into perspective!

may your day be a great one tomorrow!

I would just DIE!!!! My perspective has been cemented to my brain for over 60 years now and still no change!

I lost my perspective years ago with all of those horror movies ~ I especially remember being terrified of the giant ants in the movie, "Them!".

There are some perks for living in a viciously-cold-winter climate: I don't think we have those here.

I pity those who live with them. Eek!

I don't like any creepy crawlie. I find it hard to put them in perspective. ;-)

I work on a, "if they leave me alone, I'll leave them alone," basis. I know we have spiders; there are spider webs up near the ceiling. The spiders and I have an understanding though. I'll let them keep their web homes way up there, if they don't come down and crawl on (or too near) me. So far so good! :)

They may be small but they pack a whallop!
