I saw this wax warmer and some cookie scented wax. I just went for it. Truth be told, I didn't need it but my house smells a little doggy so I used that as my excuse since it wasn't too expensive.
I also fell for FALL CANDY. I love candy corn and pumpkins. YUM! So I guess I also eat for 'therapy'. Oh yeah, I bought a chocolate bar but no pic of it ;-)
I RESISTED shopping for stitchy items online. UN-BE-LIEVABLE! I was on 123stitch.com and added things to my wish list though. hahaha So I guess you can say I 'window' shopped.
Instead of buying new things I pulled out my long-forgotten Pumpkin Hollow pattern and started to make more progress on it. I also pulled out my Pumpkins 4 Sale pattern by Little House Needleworks. These will keep my hands busy and mind clear.
I got to thinking how I've mostly stitched Little House and Country Cottage Needlworks patterns. I'm ready to branch out, thus my wish list additions. I'm sure I'm not through wishing. ;-)

Pumpkin Hollow is looking lovely - I love LHN and CCN designs, too. I am also really into Mirabilia designs, too at the moment. I think that they are gorgeous.

I am a shopper when I am gloomy. Or anxious... That is why etsy and eBay are soooo bad for me because anxiety and depression is something I live with a lot.
I am glad you got some comfy goodies to comfort. I am thinking of you and your family! You are all in my prayers. I know a bit of what you are going through. Everyone's life situations are different, but I do understand!
Enough said! Fire up that tart warmer, breath in, scarf down some candy corn, and just rest...

Love that warmer, where did you get it? I shop when I need "therapy" too- it's hard to hold back sometimes! I love Brach's pumpkins/candy corn/Autumn Mix. :) I went through a bag of Autumn Mix last Monday- but I only like it when it's fall (or almost fall.. hee hee).

Ooooo I love to use scented candles like that. I buy Scentsy candles now and their wax. You can even buy them online. I like the Lavender/Vanilla smelling candles. They are soooo relaxing esp to burn them close to bed time to help make you sleepy. Of course....no open flames though.
Favorite designers: Shepherd's Bush, Just Nan, Plum Street Samplers, Lizzie Kate, Gigi R, and many others but those are my top ones lately it seems.
Chocolate: YES! I like milk and dark chocolate.
I love to shop also and I don't even need an excuse mostly though I will see a pattern I like on a blog and then the surfing starts. For the past couple of years I have been mostly stitching Mirabilia and Joan Elliott

Retail therapy, that's what I seem to do. Well, and there is chocolate too! My favorite designers are La D Da and Sweetheart Tree. Still praying for you all.

Those two candies are my faves, too, though the pumpkins more so than the candy corn last few years! I am a stitcher, and it seems I have Quite a lot of LHN charts, but my tastes have changed to include oh so many designers I cannot pick favorites! Here is a short list: Lizzie Kate, Bent Creek, LHN, CCN, The Sampler Girl, With Thy Needle and Thread, Blackbird, Pineberry, La D Da, Tra La La, Jardin Prive, well--enough said! Ebay and I have become quite friendly of late! Gotta cut that out! Hugs!
Great therapy! I know your house smells yummy, and you can never go wrong with chocolate. As for "new" designers, I know you'd love My Big Toe. I don't think I could ever have enough of their designs.
We are both at our house...on saturday mom stress shopper and brought home a new SHaRK steamer mop cos she is constantly moping up after us....and then she ordered pizza and ate on it all weekend...dad eats more and is alittle shrimpy guy mom struggles with her eating....she says it is not fair at all!!
We three pugs love to eat!
