A Happy Snuffy and Swap Partners Chosen

I'm thrilled to say Snuffy is wagging her tail again (and begging for treats)! The antibiotics seem to be helping her mouth feel better. We started her on the water pill for her heart and are waiting to start the heart stimulant pill until after her tooth infection clears. Thanks for all the PAWsitive thoughts!

I used the trusty random number generator to choose my 'seasonal' exchange partners. I didn't want to chose one friend over another so this was the only fair way to do it.

Here are the results:

Winter (December 2012)--Karyn

Spring (April 2013)--Gaynor

Summer (August 2013)--Terri

Fall (November 2013)--Kaye

Winter (December 2013)--Mindi   (This was a bonus. She said if her name wasn’t chosen that she’d like to be considered for a winter 2013 exchange. I couldn’t be more thrilled.)

I'll be emailing you each later today.  Thank you for being willing to exchange fun with me.

Another bonus- Claire mentioned wanting to swap a small Valentine stitch and card without the extras. I thought it was a lovely idea.

Angela Cruz-garcia, since your name wasn't chosen, we could exchange a small Valentine stitch and card as well. Just let me know.

That's all for now. Don't forget to vote tomorrow here in the USA. It's important!

Parsley,
So good to have our power back and return to the Land of Blog! I've read all your posts I've missed. I am so sorry Snuffy is sick but happy she is much improved on the medication. My condolences to your friend and her family on the loss of her father. You're right, no matter how long someone has been ill, you cannot prepare your heart for the death of a loved one. I think you are distracted with tending to their daily needs. Faith is the only thing that has sustained me through losses I've experienced. I applaud you for advising people to prepare for emergencies. Having been through hurricanes and the derecho we were prepared for Sandy. We have a generator to keep our four sump pumps going to prevent flooding. We have water, canned food, medical supplies, flashlights, kerosene heater, etc. Do it today people. Do NOT wait til the day of the storm or the day after and complain because stores are sold out or not opened.Thank you for your prayers and friendship.
Love,
Deborah
