Christmas/ Valentine Stitching and I Love Sage

I'm currently stitching the first house of Santa's Village. It's turning out really cute! I'm doing this all on one big piece of fabric for eventual display. BUT...since I get bored quickly, I've decided to begin a Valentine stitch.

I got this pink fabric from my winter exchange and the pattern from my spring exchange. I LOOOOVE pink so this will be a great break from Christmas reds and greens.

And...now the 'love' part.

I've always known my husband loves me. We are best friends. We like the same things, have similar convictions, and are totally committed to each other. We've been together 23 years and I don't love him as much as the first day...I love him MORE.

With whatever this health thing is, I get really tired, really fast. Yesterday I needed a nap and my typical 20 minute nap turned into an hour. I didn't communicate properly to him and when he couldn't reach me, he became concerned and came home to check on me.

After we both calmed down, him from seeing me okay and me from being startled awake, I began reflecting on how much that man loves me. He loves me more than I deserve and more than I ever imagined. How truly blessed I am.

After work, he did the shopping for me and brought me home my favorite flowers, pink carnations.

I'm crying now. It's a real roller-coaster of emotions for me. If you are reading this...I LOVE YOU, SAGE!

Parsley,
I am happy you and Sage have each other through sickness and in health.
Stay positive. You are in my prayers.

Your hubby sounds a real treasure, the flowers are so beautiful. Great start on Santas House, my poor santa is headless, I just had to go to bed last night, couldn't put another stitch into him!

I have a hubby like that and count myself a very lucky lady. xxx

Parsley,
Your making me cry...My husband and I have the same relationship as you.

It is really good to see you both have the same respect for each other and that is so important.

You are truly blessed, Parsley. On top of all that sweetness and big heart he has, he's good looking too!! I am so glad you have someone taking care of you physically. Otherwise, you know... I might have to show up at your door sometime. And if you happen to be napping at the time, well, don't worry, I will wait on the doorstep for as long as it takes! :)

My hubby is the same: I dont know what I would do without him. I am so sorry you are still feeling ill: if I could take it away for you I would, in a shot. I thought the sheep looked familiar; so glad you are going to stitch it xxxx
